Polyethylene PE80 Gas Pipes
Polyethylene PE80 pipes in yellow for gas distribution, standard to ISO4437 with Pressure ratings up to 8 bar. The MOP is based on the minimum required strength (MRS) of 8 MPa and a design coefficient of 2.0.
PE80 is a polyethylene which, according to an extrapolation of the results of the long-term stress rupture test (DIN 8075, at 20 °C), has a MRS (minimum required strength) of 8 MPa. There are diverse sorts of PE in this group, depending on the pipe manufacturer.
